Sisters Caribbean Cuisine aims to make you feel at home with its Caribbean and soul food menu. Marlyn Lawrie-Rogers, a native of Guyana, and her son RanDe first opened their doors back in 1995, and have been serving up specialties from Guyana, Trinidad, Jamaica and the American South ever since. RanDe is also an Uptown Grand Central board member. Stop by to sample the famous codfish, jerk chicken and callaloo, or candied yams, collard greens and cornbread. Depending on the day you visit, you may find celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson stopping by for take-out (his standing order: the curry goat).
