Located in East Harlem's famous La Marqueta, Sprinkle Splash Sweet Shoppe got its start as a stand at the Marqueta's Vendy Plaza, but now has a year-round storefront inside the Marqueta itself. Founder Tabatha Lozano runs a full-service bakery with a focus on custom one-of-a-kind cake creations, plus traditional Puerto Rican desserts including flan, tembleque and arroz con dulce.  She is also famous for her cupcakes: If you just want a small bite, ask for the "Sprinkle"-sized. If you really want a treat, go for the "Splash!"
