"Harlem 1958" , also known as "A Great Day in Harlem," is a black-and-white photograph of 57 jazz musicians who gathered at 17 East 126th Street -- a brownstone here in northeast Harlem between Fifth & Madison avenues. Click here to learn more about our initiative to co-name that block, to mark this culturally significant moment in time.

Our community plaza is now running on a winter schedule, which means you can find us under the tracks from Wednesdays through Fridays for our Fresh Food Box farmers market, small business pop-up shop and more ...
