You may have noticed: Our community plaza is under construction. The NYC EDC and NYC DOT are working there for a year or more to expand the sidewalks, install more lighting, add a "mega-crosswalk," and leave us with a new-and-improved plaza space. However, the construction hasn't stopped us. There's still plenty to join in on:

Harlem Restaurant Week: We're joining forces with Central and West Harlem to bring you a wide variety of restaurant and retail specials. Click here for the lowdown. And register here for the kick-off talk at the Caribbean Cultural Center, "Rice Is Culture."

Wellness Wednesdays: Our year-round Fresh Food Box, GrowNYC compost collection, Zumba classes & Girl Trek walking group are still going full-force on the SW corner of 125th & Park. Click here for details.

Uptown GRANDSCALE: 1,500 feet of fence. 50 artists. Three days. Are you an artist looking for a wall? Click here to apply for our new three-block mural project.

Party On Park: What happens when you close Park Avenue to cars, and open it up to people? Click here to register yourself or your organization.

"Build With Us" Crowdfunder: As we move out from under the train tracks, we need your help to strengthen our work east and west along the East 125th Street corridor. In 2019, we plan to step up our street cleaning game with more workers and extended hours, plus cover nearly three blocks of East 125th Street with bright street art. Thanks to the support of the New York State Health Foundation and In Our Backyards (ioby), gifts of up to $1,000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar!
