Back-to-school time is here, and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine and Ponce Bank are hosting a Back-To-School Backpack Giveaway to make sure you and your fam are ready at the Open Street at 101st Street & Lexington Avenue!

Bring the kid for bookbags, plus back-to-school resources from the Manhattan Borough President's Office and East Harlem Tutorial Program.

There'll also be Open Streets fun starting at 2 p.m. including:

* Storytime -- Stories, song & movement with Joy F. Brown.

* Craft Time -- Community crochet & yarn art with local artist Carmen Paulino.

* Facepainting -- Get your back-to-school superpowers thanks to Ysabel Abreu and her facepaint collective.
