FIRST FRIDAY MOVIE NIGHT

We end the summer and First Friday Movie Nights on 100th Street & Lexington Avenue with a screening of "West Side Story" (2021) at the Open Streets at Restaurant Row.

First Friday Movie Night starts at 7:30 p.m. with Corine’s Famous Bingo, featuring prizes from Restaurant Row businesses, plus a preview of kid-friendly film shorts from the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival. Shorts for this screening include "Dak' Toká Taíno," "Ve-Gigante" and "Chupahuahua."

The full feature starts at approximately 8 p.m. with the setting of the sun.

Chairs are first-come, first-served -- so come early and/or bring your picnic blanket or lawn chair!

First Friday Movie Nights are co-hosted by Uptown Grand Central in partnership with ImageNation and the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival as part of the Open Streets at East Harlem's Restaurant Row. Future dates include Friday, September 1.
