Open Streets are on their way back for the summer! And we're hosting two community days to get clean, green and ready for the season.

Join us to Love on Lexington on Saturday, June 4, or to Pitch In On Park on Sunday, May 29.

From 1-3 p.m. each day, we'll sweep our way down the avenues with our brooms and yellow trashbags. On Lexington Avenue, we're headed from 96th-110th streets, prepping for the Open Streets at 100th & 101st. On Park Avenue, we'll be making our way from 111th-125th, getting set for the Open Street at 115th under the train tracks at La Marqueta.

At Lexington, fiber artist Carmen Paulino will be on hand to install her new lightpole piece, "Totems De El Barrio."

Plus each day we'll finish off with some summer hospitality from local small businesses Lexington Pizza Parlour and Amuse Bouche. If you'd like to bring a group, email us at info@uptowngrandcentral.org.
