OPEN STREETS: 101st Street

  • 101st Street & Lexington Avenue (map)

Open Streets are back for another season!

On Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons, join us for outdoor seating at East 101st and Lex, where you can get takeout from local spots, or bring snacks from home. Participating local businesses include Au Jus Oklahoma BBQ, Bar Goyana, Chu Ros Thai, Effy’s Kitchen, El Tepeyac Taqueria, Frenchy Coffee, Harlem Baking Co., Joy Burger Bar, La Shuk, Lexington Pizza Parlour, Mojo Mousse Bar, MY NY Bakery, Naughty Crab, Pro Thai & Rosenthal Wine Merchant.

There’ll also be raffles from the businesses, plus sidewalk chalk and games. Wear your mask, and be kind to the neighbors! Social distancing staff are always in place, provided by Positive Workforce.

Want to get involved? Donate a book to our outdoor reading room. Books may be dropped off during the Open Street, or to El Tepeyac, Frenchy Coffee, Mojo Desserts or Lexington Pizza Parlour. We are especially in need of children’s books.
