Michael Paulino (Infamous Moke) was born and raised in New York City and resides here in El Barrio. Since an early age, he's been inspired by vivid street art around the city on buildings, walls and subway trains. With this yin/yang piece he hopes to inspire peace and love in the community.

Artist Manuel Rivera is a self-taught artist who was born in New York City, raised in Brooklyn, and first involved in art through the world of graffiti. Through the years, he has come to feature bright, modern geometric patterns. He also does traditional sign painting.

Artist Rosa Marruffo is a garden educator here in East Harlem at Edible Schoolyard, and the faces in this piece depict community members with whom she’s shared plants, recipes and quality time.

Jess Rolls was born in the U.K., and now resides in Harlem, with the focus of her art work in building community and teaching. For this piece, she brought together several mothers from Concourse House, a program based in the Bronx that works to end homelessness.

Brittany Maldonado (Kalon) was born and raised in the Bronx, with the backdrop of her formative years at 195th and Sedgwick Avenue. She is both a visual artist and spoken-word poet who describes her work as a love letter to the resilience of women.
