Gather around the crochet table with local artist Carmen Paulino for a community crochet circle. Yarn and hooks provided, or bring your own. You can work on your own pieces, or be a part of creating group public art pieces over the course of the summer. All levels welcome!

In June and July, bring your crew for World Cup games. All games of the series are being screened inside the La Marqueta retail market during the market’s open hours.
On Sunday, June 21, we’re calling all dads, mentors, caregivers and all-around good guys to bring your crew for an indoor screening of the Spain vs. Saudi Arabia game at noon, plus soccer fun for kids at the market's new soccer-themed reading nook, plus the StreetLab OASIS -- and your very own limited-edition World Cup cup to take home. There'll also be a portrait booth where a photographer will be on hand to take pics of you and your crew, in your game jerseys or Sunday best!
On Sunday, July 5, celebrate America 250 and summertime with free scoops of ice cream (while supplies last!) by La Marqueta vendor Blackeyed Peas.
