** UPDATED AS OF OCTOBER 30*
The highly contagious Delta variant is spreading quickly in NYC, and unvaccinated people are at the most risk for infection, hospitalization and death.
The vaccine is available to all New York residents 12 and older. People who live outside of the state but work or study in New York are also eligible to get vaccinated. Note: As of May 10, the FDA approved the Pfizer vaccine for use by 12- to 15-year-olds. As of August 16, a third dose of the Pzifer or Moderna vaccine is available at City-run sites for people who are immunocompromised (meaning they have a weakened immune system).
A summary of nearby locations is below. Most City- and State-run sites are now offering walk-up vaccines without an appointment, and many city-run sites are now offering a $100 incentive for taking the shot. For more sites including area pharmacies and primary care centers including Rx Center Pharmacy, Taino Pharmacy, SmartRx Specialty Pharmacy, Costco, Walgreens, Rite Aid and Great City Medical, check the NYC Vaccine Finder. Click here for the mobile pop-up sites this week. You can also schedule an appointment for certain vaccination sites by calling 877-VAX-4NYC (877-829-4692).

TIPS
What proof do I need to show? New Yorkers must bring proof of age and New York residency. Some sites may only vaccinate people from a certain borough or ZIP code. Click here for a list of acceptable documents.
Minors must have identification to verify they are at least 12 years of age, or they must have a parent or legal guardian present to attest on their behalf. A parent or legal guardian must also provide consent for vaccination — either in person or by phone — at the time of the vaccine appointment.
People who live outside of New York must bring proof of age and that they work or study in New York.
You will not need to provide proof of immigration status or a social security number to get vaccinated.
Do I need insurance? The vaccine is free for everyone. If you do have insurance, bring your card with you to your appointment; your insurance may be billed but you will not be charged a co-pay or other fee.
Do I need to be a citizen? You do not need to share your immigration status in order to be vaccinated. Getting vaccinated is not a public benefit under the public charge rule.
