Food truck for social justice: Drive Change provides hospitality training to young people ages 18-25 who are returning from the criminal justice system. They rolled into East Harlem with us again to spread the word about the impacts of mass incarceration, the importance of the U.S. Census and the need for good food jobs.
Haven’t completed the Census yet? Stop by and representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau can help you take the 10 minute survey. It is safe & secure & important. Help East Harlem get its fair share of $675 billion of federal funding towards education, housing, infrastructure and health care.
Thanks to support from the CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute, 1775 Houses, Wagner Houses, and U.S. Census Bureau for making it possible. With extra love this week to local small business Fieldtrip Harlem.
