It's a move and stretch party! On Saturday, September 10, join us for Harlem Wellness Fest — where you can get to know Harlem's homegrown fitness & wellness businesses, and map out your wellness routine for fall.
Harlem has seen enormous growth in our fitness and wellness scene over the course of the past decade. While we were hit hard by COVID-19, Harlem has built a strong network of minority-owned and women-led small businesses -- whose teachers and trainers who are expanding and energizing our community culture of fitness and self-care.
Mark your calendar for TWO BIG TENTS with a lineup of FREE CLASSES ranging from dance to yoga, boxing to strength training, and kettlebells to meditation. You can also explore the Humana Pavilion, where you'll get to know each small business and sample wellness offerings including massage, acupuncture and plant-based nutrition.

SPRING INTO FITNESS SAMPLER
GET UP OFF THAT COUCH! It's been a long, cold winter -- no shame if you haven't moved in a while. Plus as you know, our local fitness businesses have been closed for more than a year to group classes.
To get us all back to moving -- and to shine the spotlight on Harlem fitness and wellness providers -- a coalition of local businesses have come together to offer you three weeks of FREE sample classes. That’s 21 days of everything from cardio to strength to yoga to meditation and pilates.
They say it takes 21 days to build a habit, and we’ll kick the series off on Sunday, March 21, the first full day of spring. Each weekday at 6 p.m. and weekends at 10 a.m., the lineup includes:
SUNDAYS: Mindful Harlem
MONDAYS: Harlem Cycle
TUESDAYS: Harlem Pilates
WEDNESDAYS: Harlem Wellness Center
THURSDAYS: Harlem Run
FRIDAYS: JTW Fit
SATURDAYS: Harlem Yoga Studio
Participants who complete the most classes will be eligible for prizes -- including merch, swag and memberships to the businesses above, plus our friends at Women’s World of Boxing, Bond Street Dojo, Harlem Chi Acupuncture and more.
The classes are free as our gift to you, with support from Harlem Run, Harlem EatUp! and Uptown Grand Central. Donations also accepted. Register via Eventbrite.
